Mangalore: The St. Aloysius Evening College (SAEC) Students’ Council/Humanities Association and Women’s Forum, in association with Lions Club Metrogold, Mangaluru and Village Panchayath Gurupura, organized an awareness programme for the High School Kannada Medium students of Gurupura Government Pre- University Composite School on Saturday, February 3.

Nearly 125 students benefited from the awareness programme. Dr. V Basil Hans, Samarth Shenoy, and NCC cadet Wilber Joseph Fernandez were the resource persons. Students were educated about the topics Swachha Bharat, Personality Development and Career opportunities in the army.

Roopa D N, Head Mistress, Government Pre- University Composite School, Dr. Manohar V Serrao, Principal, St. Aloysius Evening College, Lions Club Metrogold President Ln. C. S Bhandhary, Secretary Ln. Hariprasad Rai and SAEC Students’ Council President Hithesh Madivala were present on the occasion. Shakila Hegde, Assistant Professor, Political Science, SAEC coordinated the programme. Sudhesh was the MC of the programme.
