Following Archana Puran Singh’s recent sharing of a sneak peek at the wrap-up of The Great Indian Kapil Show’s season, fans have been buzzing with curiosity about the extent of this season’s episodes. Addressing these queries, Kiku Sharda has revealed to News18 that the show will indeed be back for another season, assuring fans that the wrap-up is only temporary.
Speaking on the season wrap, Kiku disclosed, “We’ve completed 13 episodes, and the second season is already in the pipeline. The conclusion of the first season was always part of the plan, and we’re geared up for the next one, which will be unveiled shortly. There won’t be a significant hiatus.”
Elaborating further, he added, “While television seasons tend to be longer, we’re exploring different formats, which keeps things dynamic. There’ll be a brief interval now, and the second season will return promptly. Although it may seem like a finality due to our wrap-up rituals, it’s merely a temporary pause. We’ll be back in action soon.”
Archana previously shared glimpses of the Season 1 wrap-up on her Instagram Stories, showcasing a celebratory cake adorned with a group picture featuring Kapil, Archana, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur, accompanied by the caption, “The Great Indian Kapil Show… Congratulations!”
