Mangaluru: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel posted at CISF Unit MRPL (Mangalore Refinery Petrochemicals Ltd.) observed CISF Raising Day today. CISF contingent of MRPL performed a Ceremonial parade. Shri M Venkatesh, Managing Director, MRPL was the Chief Guest who reviewed the parade and was also given Guard of Honour by CISF. Mr Shahid Ali, Sub Inspector CISF was the Parade Commander and Shri Bikram, Deputy Commandant – CISF took charge of the Ceremonial parade and the celebration.
A mock exercise of a hijack situation was also carried out. Some outstanding personnel of the Unit were rewarded.
Shri Sanjay Varma, Director Refinery, Shri BHV Prasad, ED Projects and Shri SP Kamath, ED – Refinery were also present during the programme
