In a sweet move, Bark, the company that makes dog treat subscription boxes every month, has partnered with a charter airline to make every pet owner’s life easier.
What is BARK air?
The goal of Bark Air is to provide dogs with the same “white glove experience typical of a human’s first-class experience,” but with more attention to detail. The business is proud to refer to its as “fur-st class.”
One of the most stressful things a pet parent can do is take their dog on an airplane. It’s a laborious procedure that needs extensive planning and preparation.Larger dogs must be transported in the cargo area; American and United Airlines, for instance, permit small dogs to be carried under the seat while following all safety regulations. While many pet owners find this to be a stressful process and frequently avoid booking trips for their animals, the airlines view it as a safe procedure.
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at BARK, Matt Meeker in a statement said, “We are excited to take the insights we’ve learned over years to create an experience that is truly dog-first, which is drastically different from just accepting dogs – from the ground to the skies.”
