Indore : A 60-year-old woman in Indore district gave birth to her fourth child, a girl, through surgical delivery by cesarean section. Lilabai, a mother of two daughters and a 13-year-old son, who was on a family visit to Indore was admitted to the Prakash Chand Sethi Hospital on Tuesday evening after she complained of pain in her stomach.

On examination, the doctors found the patient to be pregnant and transferred her case to Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital. At the MYH Hospital, the doctors stabilized her and decided to conduct a surgical delivery by cesarean section.

Finally, on Thursday, Lilabai of village Rasanpura in Khandwa district who was in good spirits was taken into the operating theatre. The doctor who treated Lilabai are reportedly both doing well.

“The patient and the baby are healthy. The lady has delivered a girl baby weighing 3.5 kg,” Dr Lakshmi Maru, head of gynaecology department, MYH Hospital told to the sources. The elderly mother thanked for the safe delivery.
