Washington: Oprah Winfrey, the media mogul, at a recent TV show dropped a hint that she may rethink having a go at the Oval office in the near future.

In an interview with Bloomberg TV that aired on Wednesday, host David Rubenstein asked Oprah that given her popularity and the fact that a woman is yet to win the White House, if she had ever considered about her own White House campaign.

“I actually never thought — I never considered the question even a possibility. I just thought, oh, oh,” said Winfrey, 63, who supported Hillary Clinton in last year’s election.

Further, without taking any names she added that since now its proven you do not require prior government experience to be elected president she may rethink the prospect.

Now here’s the clinch Winfrey who had interviewed Trump way back in 1988 had quizzed the now US President if he would run for the White House.

Trump had then replied “Probably not,” before adding that if he did run, “I would have a hell of a chance of winning.”
