UAE: The UAE has been in news for the extreme weather conditions over th last few weeks. Following the same, Fujairah experienced heavy rains and thunderstorms on Wednesday evening.

While a flashflood warning has been issued, the residents are already reeling under waterlogging.

The UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) issued a weather warning stating that there are all chance of towering clouds forming over the Oman Sea and the east coast of UAE, associated with thundery showers and fresh winds.

The same stormy weather has continued even on Thursday morning and regions like Khor Fakkan, Dibba and Masafi experienced heavy rains this morning.

Over the past 48 hours, neighbouring Daba, a province of Oman, along with Muscat and surrounding areas too have been witnessing thunderstorms.
