Palestine: In recent news, Israeli forces have launched air attacks and ground raids in Jenin, resulting in the deaths of at least nine Palestinians. This military operation is considered the largest in Jenin in the past 20 years. Furthermore, an additional Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli soldiers near Ramallah.

In response to these events, Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres, or MSF), an international medical charity, has raised concerns about the access of health workers to provide medical care to those in need in Jenin. They have called for health workers to be guaranteed unhindered access to ensure the delivery of medical assistance during this military operation.

MSF has reported that Israeli forces have blocked all roads leading to the Jenin refugee camp, preventing the movement of ambulances and obstructing the delivery of medical aid. This blockade has severely affected health structures and hindered the emergency medical response in the area.

The situation has been exacerbated by the destruction of multiple roads leading to the refugee camp by Israeli military bulldozers. As a result, ambulances face significant challenges in reaching patients who require urgent medical treatment. Palestinian paramedics have been forced to navigate the area on foot, putting themselves at risk due to the ongoing gunfire and drone strikes.

MSF’s statement highlights the urgent need for unrestricted access to ensure the provision of essential medical care to those affected by the military operation in Jenin.

Israeli airstrikes reportedly targeted areas in the northern part of the Gaza Strip in response to rockets launched from the strip towards Israel on Wednesday morning, according to local media. Citing Palestinian news sources, Israeli media reported that the air force struck a location near Beit Lahia town in the northern Gaza Strip. Palestinian media sources confirmed that at least three airstrikes occurred in the town. Currently, there have been no reports of any damage or casualties resulting from these attacks.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia has strongly condemned the recent air attacks carried out by Israeli forces on Jenin in the occupied West Bank. Malaysia has called on Israel to immediately cease the violence and allow the people of Jenin unrestricted access to humanitarian aid and healthcare services.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Malaysia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern over the loss of innocent lives resulting from Israeli aggression. The ministry further denounced the continuous provocation, aggression, and ongoing atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation forces, emphasizing that such actions flagrantly violate international laws and humanitarian principles.

Malaysia reiterated its call to the United Nations Security Council and the international community, urging them to demand that the Israeli regime put an end to its appalling crimes against humanity and apartheid policies targeting the Palestinian population. Malaysia emphasized that these measures are necessary to promote peace, stability, and justice in the region.
