Mumbai: Customs Arrest South African Teacher; Seize Drugs worth 7 crore

Mumbai: The customs arrested a woman with South African passport when she arrived from Mozambique at Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport here on Monday March 25, and seized 7 kilos of methamphetamine drugs, popularly known as Meth.

The police sources informed that the drugs are worth Rs 7 crore.

The woman claims she is a teacher with a private school in South Africa, and has come to Mumbai for a vacation.

The drugs were found in two school bags with her.
The woman is currently in custody of the Air Intelligence Unit of the Airport’s custom’s wing.
