Bangkok: TV host Issada Aisiri visited an undisclosed clinic for an anti-acne and laser treatment about a month ago. During the procedure, she experienced a significant heat sensation but initially believed it to be a normal aspect of the treatment. However, the discomfort persisted long after the procedure, causing her to become concerned that something was amiss. The clinic staff offered her oral steroids for relief, but she declined since they were not prescribed by a doctor. Several hours later, while attempting to contact another physician for first aid, she noticed the emergence of dark brown and red burn marks on her forehead and cheeks.

Issada explained that the marks had a significant impact on her career as a television host, especially since she frequently appeared on camera and in front of an audience. She even had to cancel an eagerly anticipated scuba diving trip due to concerns that sun exposure might exacerbate her condition. While the clinic extended an offer for corrective treatment, she declined, citing her traumatic experience and her reluctance to return. Clinic personnel mentioned that the staff member who performed the treatment was recently hired and not familiar with the new equipment.

After her complaint, Issada revealed that the clinic’s attorney contacted her a few days later to acknowledge the issue and promise compensation. However, despite the passage of weeks, no reimbursement or financial assistance had been received. On September 22, she shared online, “While I’ve received apologies from the doctor and the staff accountable for the error, there has been no communication from the clinic’s management. To this day, I have not received any compensation from the clinic.
