Greater Noida : Once again, recent events have cast a spotlight on Uttar Pradesh’s law enforcement, with a disturbing video emerging online depicting a group of 10 to 12 men brutally assaulting an individual in Greater Noida. The incident reportedly occurred on March 6 at a pharmacy situated in Gaur City 2, Greater Noida West. The altercation, captured by the shop’s CCTV camera, quickly went viral on social media, sparking concerns about the region’s safety.
According to accounts, an elderly woman visited the pharmacy with an empty medicine packet, requesting a refill. Upon receiving a new packet of the same medicine from the shopkeeper, a dispute ensued when the woman’s son arrived and accused the shopkeeper of dispensing the wrong medication. This disagreement escalated into a physical altercation, with the son summoning others to join in the assault. However, the violence was eventually halted by other employees present at the scene.
The video initially surfaced on social media platform X, shared by the user ‘Arhant Shelby’ and later reshared by ‘Ghar ke kalseh’. It was captioned, “Altercation between a Pharmacy Store owner and Customer Guy with his Group over some heated arguments, Noida UP.” Subsequently, the footage gained significant traction online, drawing criticism towards the aggressors’ behavior and highlighting concerns about rising violence in Noida.
