Lewiston: Authorities are currently in pursuit of an armed individual who has carried out shootings in two separate locations in Lewiston, Maine. Tragically, these incidents have resulted in 22 fatalities and left approximately 60 others wounded.

Law enforcement has released images of the suspect brandishing a rifle, clearly depicting a man poised to open fire as he entered a business. The perpetrator remains at large, heightening concerns for public safety. Sources within law enforcement, who have been briefed on the incident, have confirmed the death toll at 22, with around 50 to 60 individuals sustaining injuries.

In response to this ongoing threat, the Maine State Police have issued a directive for residents of Lewiston, the state’s second-largest city, to seek shelter within their homes and secure their doors due to the presence of an active shooter in multiple locations.
