Mangaluru: P Pandurang Pai (80), a resident of Kodialbail, passed away on Saturday, May 18 at his residence.

According to his family sources he was suffering from age-related ailments, for a short period.

He has rendered service in the Syndicate Bank for 30 years (1969-1999) and was retired as a senior manager.

Later, he served Sri Kashi Mutt Samsthan as it chief accountant at central accounts office for 18 years (2000-2018).

He is survived by his son Pradeep Pai, daughter Shwetha Kamath, son-in-law Deepak Kamath and grandchildren Poonam and Pratham.
