Meanwhile, Kohli is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The former RCB captain has been in breathtaking form so far this season and tops the IPL 2024 scoring charts with 361 runs in seven matches.
Although he has scored a century this season against the Rajasthan Royals, his form hasn’t been able to motivate RCB thus far. They are at the bottom of the points table after losing seven of their first six games.
