New Delhi: A young man’s attempt to outsmart officials by impersonating his girlfriend ended up being a comedic spectacle at an examination centre in Punjab’s Faridkot.
On January 7, a multi-purpose health workers exam was conducted by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences at DAV Public School in Kotkapura. Angrez Singh from Fazilka decided to write the exam by donning the guise of his girlfriend, Paramjit Kaur. Angrez Singh was all dolled up in a ladies’ suit, lipstick, a bindi, and red bangles.
But the scene was set for the most unexpected comedy act in Punjab, as university officials soon discovered the charade and reported it to the police.
The police claim that Angrez Singh made every effort, using fictitious voter and Aadhar cards to authenticate his identity as Paramjit Kaur. Up until that fateful moment when his fingerprints did not match the real candidate’s on the biometric device, the plan appeared to be flawless.
Regretfully, the administration rejected the application of Paramjit Kaur, who was the real candidate. Meanwhile, Angrez Singh is the target of legal action.
