On social media, a video of a Gujarati police officer using a paraglider to do an aerial assessment of the city of Junagarh has gone viral. Gujarat Police and other people have shared it on social media sites like X (previously Twitter). The video has also appeared on other websites, such as Reddit. The police officer can be seen in the video operating a paramotor, which is a motorized paraglider propelled by a little two-stroke engine fastened to the pilot’s back.
The Gujarat Police utilized the paraglider to keep an eye on the Lili Parikrama in Junagarh, according to their post on X. Every year, followers travel around the Junagadh district’s Mount Girnar, a site of great spiritual significance.

Beginning in the temple of Bhavnath, the parikrama is held in the month of Kartik (as per the Hindu calendar), which often falls in November.
Roughly one lakh people attend the fair each year from all over India.
The police officer is seen monitoring the city from his paramotor in the viral video on social media.
Though some X users recommended employing drones for efficient monitoring, others thought the notion was good.
“Wow! Futuristic implementation. Looks like in the future, drone policing will happen,” commented one user.
“You can Give Training accordingly Your Requirements. But use drones, much much better option,” commented another.
