With Mother’s Day approaching, we’re gearing up to celebrate our moms in special ways. Adding to the festivities, Zomato, the food-tech app, has unveiled an exciting new feature aimed at enhancing user experience. Recently announced by Deepinder Goyal, Zomato’s CEO, on social media platform X, the feature allows users to order customised photo cakes.
A more light hearted update for today – we just launched Photo Cakes on @zomato – now you can upload your picture and get a customized cake delivered in about 30 minutes.

According to Goyal’s announcement, Zomato users can now personalize cakes by uploading their own photos via the app, with delivery promised within approximately 30 minutes. Goyal shared his own experience of utilizing the feature to commemorate a colleague’s decade-long tenure at Zomato, highlighting the ability to celebrate milestones uniquely.
Initially available in select areas of Delhi NCR, the feature is set to expand to other cities soon. Goyal expressed gratitude towards the restaurant partners who contributed to the feature’s launch, coinciding with the upcoming Mother’s Day on May 12, 2024.
