An 80-year-old widower never imagined finding love again, but thanks to the humorous Instagram reels he used to upload, fate had a different plan. A 34-year-old woman from Amaravati, Maharashtra, was captivated by his humor, leading to their recent marriage. Their unique love story and wedding have taken social media by storm.
The unconventional wedding took place in Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh, where the blossoming romance between Baluram from Magaria village in MP and Sheela from Amaravati, Maharashtra, culminated in a court marriage in Susner town, Madhya Pradesh.
Sources reveal that Baluram was highly active on social media, using funny videos on Instagram as a coping mechanism to overcome depression. Baluram fell into depression due to mounting debts and the loss of his wife. Vishnu Gujjar, a friend, introduced him to making reels as a way to bring positivity back into his life. Two years ago, Vishnu noticed Baluram’s deteriorating condition and brought him to his hotel to create a reel of his jokes, which unexpectedly went viral.
Encouraged by their initial success, Baluram and Vishnu continued making funny videos, gaining popularity not only in their village but also in the surrounding areas. Baluram, fondly known as ‘Balu Ba,’ emerged from depression as laughter filled his life once again.
Meanwhile, Sheela Ingale came across Baluram’s reels and was impressed. Their casual conversations gradually evolved into love, prompting Sheela to make the bold decision to marry him. She left her home and arrived at Baluram’s house on April 1. The couple proceeded to Susner for a court marriage, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.
