Kolkata: Delhi Dare Devils team is in tight spot, since it has to play the match in the absence of Veerendra Sehwag against former champion Kolkata Night Riders in inaugural match.

Veerendra Sehwag has not joined the team till Tuesday April 2 evening and Delhi Cricket Board has no idea of his whereabouts.  His mentor T A Shekar and coach Edic Simpson does not reveal anything in this regard.

Delhi Dare Devils was dependant on Sehwag in the absence of Kevin Peterson and Jesse Ryder, but it has a great shock if Sehwag does not turns up for the match.

Delhi Dare Devils team is facing the unavailability of Morne Morckel who bagged highest wickets in IPL-5 during 2012, since he is engaged in T-20 in South Africa.  The Captain Jayavardane is worried to their injuries.
