Chennai Super Kings chose to field and tried to reach their set goal of 139 runs, while Michael Hassi scored 86 runs and M Vijay scored 50 out of 54 balls.
Chennai Super Kings was defeated in the first match by Mumbai Indians, while Michael Hassi despite began slow innings contributed for the victory before 16 balls remaining.
