Bangaldesh cricketer Ashraful suspended

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board have suspended former captain Mohammad Ashraful amid an investigation into fixing, until the International Cricket Councils Anti-Corruption and Security Unit submits a report on investigations into suspected match- and spot-fixing during this years Bangladesh Premier League an official said.

Ashraful, who played for eventual champions Dhaka Gladiators, scored the inauguaral tournaments sixth most runs – 358 in 14 matches,he has confessed his involvement in fixing to the ACSU team, so he should not be allowed to play any level of cricket until we get a full report of the investigation,” Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan.
