Max green Agro houses state of the art plant and machinery which are specially designed and manufactured to produce 100% biodegradable top-notch areca leaf plants The companies properties also includes 2300 sq raw material storage it also houses a 2500 sq production area where the finished goods are manufactured and packed. The facility has a good production capacity with 25 trained and skilled employees working day for the company, who also take care of the quality, Hygiene of the products and the workplace.
The process of manufacturing has different steps
Collection of fallen leaves
dried up leaves shed by betel nut trees are picked up. The raw material is available in huge quantities in south India. Agriculturists collect and sundry it for us before we collect them. Which are segregated based on quality and stored in warehouses.
Cleaning with the freshwater
The Raw materials are first rinsed in water, they are then scrubbed down and treated with the pressure wash
, this rigorous cleaning process ensures that there is no debris left behind.
Heat pressing and cutting
The thoroughly cleaned raw materials are now ready for production. To ensure low wastage of raw materials, planning is done before each areca leaf is fed into the heat press. Cleaned raw materials are fed into a Hydraulic heat-press, to mold and cut the raw materials into desired shapes and sizes. The product is now ready for post-production.
Final touch
The edges of the products are trimmed and products are scrubbed with a wire brush to give them a smooth finish.
sterilization
The final product is perfectly safe to use at this stage. However, of the customer requests, the final product is further sent for s dry heat sterilization.
Quality check
during this stage, the products that do not meet the high standards are rejected.
Shrinkwrapping
The finished products are then shrink wrapped in polyolefin shrinkwraps or they are packed in HDPE bags in packs of 25, as per the consumers’ requirements.
Carton box packaging
The packed and finished products are filled in carton boxes and shipped out to our customers.
The specialty
No, we do not use any chemicals or add any additives during the manufacturing process. Water is used for washing the areca leaves & a heat press is used to mold the areca leaves into desired shapes.

Shredded areca palm tree leaves are picked up by farmers prior to the collection. No trees are cut down to collect the raw materials. The manufacturing process is entirely eco-friendly.
At MAXGreen agro we do not meddle with the natural attributes of areca leaves. Thickness and color vary not only from leaf to leaf but also change with change in the portion of the leaf. Thus each plate has a slight variation from one to another. But they all have the same natural texture and feel of natural areca leaf plates.
Betel nut (Areca) leaf plates have higher durability than paper and plastic plates and can be heated in the microwave oven for 2-3 minutes up to 150° Celsius. It’s also perfectly safe to store bio plates in the refrigerator or freezer, to keeps foods, especially fruits and vegetables fresh longer.
Any & all types of food items can be served on Areca leaf plates. These plates can hold liquids for 3-4 hours without soaking them up, making it one of the best utensils to serve hot soups or your favorite ice-creams.
