Mangaluru: The seventh episode of Career Guidance with Prof. Ronald Pinto on Top Commerce Courses was premiered on Friday October 29.
Brian Fernandes, Director of Spearhead Media Group hosted the show by NewsKarnataka, which is powered by Loyola College, Bengaluru.
Prof. Ronald Pinto who is the Director of the Institute for Individual Development, Mangaluru, specifically talked about Top Commerce Courses.
Ronald Pinto said, “many bright students from Commerce stream go for CA and this is not only for boys. CA is for those who are hardworking, focused and determined. Earlier people took up CA only after degree but now CA can be pursued along with degree after PUC. It is called foundation level. Many banks and private companies are appinting CAs.
ECCA course too is the trending one today. And with this CFA, CMA also has good scope. Many with these degrees are having handsome salaries. You will get more opportunities when you get these degrees from institutions like ISB, FI of Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai etc.
Another course equal to CA is CS. CS qualified get recruitments in banks and private sector. And also CMA (Cost Management Accountant) too has great demand. It is not as difficult as CA but is of the same level.
And lastly MBA is a standard master’s degree for Commerce students.
New courses that has emerged are Biotech Management, Dairy Management etc.
