In Ayurveda, for our health to be good, our digestion has to be good. If our digestion is not good, bloating of the stomach can lead to sourness,” says Dr. Anuradha K. C., a doctor at Kakunje Ayurvedic Wellness Clinic.
Salt consumption should be reduced as much as possible to keep the Blood Pressure (BP) mainly in balance. It is better to reduce foods with salt content other than salt that is added to the regular diet. Instead of ordinary salt, you can use saindhava lavana, pink salt or black salt.
Not using chips, sauces, cheese, processed food, and junk food in our diet as much as possible can help keep BP in balance.
Frequent eating of roasted chickpea seeds, or dry fruits thinking that they are good for health, can also increase BP in our body. Vegetables should be used more in the diet and it is best to give the body some exercise along with these.
Bottomline, it is always very healthy to eat mostly homemade foods.
