Our food habits have also changed with the changing times. Instead of eating maida, and processed foods, using whole grains will helps in maintaining our heart along with our overall health.
Vegetarians should consume raisins, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, fruits such as avocado, etc. For proteins, while for non-vegetarians fish and meat provides the needed protein.
Along with food, oil also plays an important role in keeping our heart healthy. Instead of using refined oil, we can use coconut oil, groundnut oil, or mustard oil in our diet.
It is good for our health to stop processed foods, ready-to-eat foods, and frozen foods as much as possible.
Most importantly, the sugar content is very harmful to our body. This sugar content is getting into our body in the form of coffee, juice, tea, ketchup, etc. Our heart health can be maintained in a better way by staying away from these as much as possible.
