One of most hyped films of Sandalwood, “KGF” has completed shooting. The movie is now in post production. Trade analysts in Gandhinagar have now started to guess when the will film release. The film is expected to release simultaneously in five languages. Therefore, a good release date is required as it should not clash with big films of other languages.

Fans are hoping that the film will release during the festive period of Dasara or Deepavali. But, trade analysts feel that if the film releases during this time, it may not reap the expected benefits in other languages, due to big films of other languages being releasing around the same time.

The next best date seems to be Christmas. Yash’s blockbuster films like “Mr and Mrs Ramachari” and “Masterpiece” have released during this period. This period is expected to be a good time for all language films, therefore, it looks like Christmas season is the best option for “KGF”. The makers will also have adequate time to market their film if it releases in December.

Meanwhile, fans are hoping for the trailer to release, which may give them more information about the release date. The film, which is directed by Prashant Neel, is made under the Hombale Films banner. Ravi Basrur has composed the music. Srinidhi Shetty is playing the female lead, while Anant Nag, Nassar, Malavika and Vashishth Simha are playing pivotal roles.
