Vinay Rajkumar took a small break from Sandalwood after the debacle of his second film “Run Antony”. We all know that he will be seen as a lawyer in his next “Ananthu V/S Nusrath”. He was also expected to star in “Appa Amma”, which would have been his fourth film but, a few months back, it was announced that the film was dropped.

Now, Vinay’s next film has been announced. It will be a rural drama titled “Gramayana”. The poster of the film has already been released on social media. The film will be directed by Devarnuru Chandru. While Vinay Rajkumar will play the lead, the heroine Amritha Iyer will be making her debut in Sandalwood with this film.

Aparna, popularly known as Varu in Maja Talkies, will be making her comeback to the big screen after a break of 30 years. She will reportedly play the role of Vinay’s mother in the film. The first teaser will be out on September 6. The film is expected to go on floors on September 18.
