Upendra will soon get to show his cricketing skills in an upcoming film. Tarun Talkies, Tarun Shivappa’s production house, has finalised the director for this yet-to-be-titled film. The project will be directed by Navaneeth.

Navaneeth, who made his debut with “Karvva”, will be directing a sports drama, which will also be a commercial drama with a mix of comedy.

Tarun Shivappa, who debuted as a producer with “Rose”, is currently bankrolling Chiranjeevi Sarja and Tanya Hope- starrer “Kakhi”. Upendra’s cricket flick will be his fifth venture.
