Looks like Upendra is also looking to act in original films. The star who is criticized for his remakes, has signed his next, which will be produced and directed by popular director Shashank. The film will be a unique entertainer and will be Upendra’s 49th film as actor.
Shashank is turning producer with this film. The director has named his production house as Shashank Cinemas. Shashank has narrated the storyline script to Upendra and he has accepted it. Shashank is now undertaking the work of writing the final script and dialogues.

Upendra’s 46th film as hero “Mukunda Murari” is scheduled to release this Friday. His 47th film is “Uppi Matthe Hutthi Baa” is a remake. His 48th film is “Modi”, which is an original. His 49th and 50th film will be directed by Shashank and Manju respectively, both originals.
