Bengaluru: Remember Etv Kannada’s reality show Indian-season I, which was aired three-years-ago. Winner of this show was Tsunami Kitty, a tribal youth from Heggadadevanakote of Chamarajnagar district of the state. After winning this reality show, Kitty hit headlines again when he won another reality show of the same channel-Dancing Star. Following these achievements he participated in Kannada Big Boss season 2 where he was eliminated in the final rounds. However, he then took part in Kannada Big Boss season 4 as one of the guest participants.
With all the popularity that he has garnered, Kitty is now all set to realise his dream of acting in a Kannada movie. According to sources in the Sandalwood, Kitty will be the hero in upcoming Kannada movie Aadivasi (tribal), a directorial venture of veteran Kannada actor P Murthy.
If everything goes as per plans then Kitty will become the second hero from any of the tribal communities to enter Sandalwood after Rajesh, a tribal from Heggadedevanakote who had earlier acted in two Kannada films in lead role. Rajesh who was the product of a reality show acted in two Kannada movies as hero. But unfortunately his career ended with in a span of just two years as he committed suicide two years ago at his house in Mysuru following anxiety related issues.
