One of the biggest films in Sandalwood, “The Villain” has been making news since the day it was announced. The film has almost completed shooting except for a few songs. Now, sources in Gandhinagar say that the film’s audio rights have been sold at a whopping Rs 1.08 Crore.

This is a huge amount for a Kannada film. Anand Audio has bagged the rights to the audio. The film, which has Shivarajkumar and Sudeepa in the lead, is directed by Prem, who is known for his great music. This is said to be one of the reasons for the audio rights fetching such a huge amount.

Arjun Janya has composed the music for the film. Amy Jackson plays the female lead role and she will be romancing both Shivarajkumar and Sudeepa in the film. As the movie is in great demand, it is rumoured that a popular distributor was ready to shell out Rs 35 Crore as distribution rights for the film. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the same.

Politician C R Manohar is producing the film on a lavish budget. It is scheduled to release in the latter part of 2018.
