It looks like Sandalwood has finally started to take the overseas market seriously. Even though films of other languages have regularly been released and promoted overseas, Kannada films were behind despite there being a huge population of Kannadigas abroad. Recently, Prem’s “The Villain” had its audio launched in Dubai. And now, another Kannada film, “Kavaludaari” will have its teaser launched in the USA.

The teaser for Hemanth M Rao’s directorial and Rishi starrer “Kavaludaari” will be launched in Dallas, Texas on September 2. Puneeth Rajkumar, who is turning independent producer with this film, will be releasing the teaser for a global audience at the AKKA Samelaana, to be held at Dallas.

Rao’s debut film “Godhi Banna Sadharana Maiktu”, that grossed more than 1 crore, did extraordinary business in the USA. The same is expected from his second film. “Kavaludaari” is an investigative-thriller where Rishi plays a traffic cop and Anant Nag plays a retired police officer. Roshni Prakash, Achyuth Kumar, Suman Ranganath, Siddharth Maadhyamika and Samanvita Shetty play pivotal roles in the film.
