While fans have been singing praises of his performance, the actor is saddened by the untimely demise of a fan, whose met his end due to his excited participation in the release celebrations.

Sudeep, who always loved his fans, took to his Twitter page to express his disbelief.

His set of tweets reads, “Very upset to hear th demise of a fan,Rayappa..very sad indeed…I request all to pls njoy th movie than th decorations.., I hv taken years to earn u all..Ur lives r more precious to me than those garlands n banners… pls take care n pls be safe.. I need u all, I pary for Rayappa’s soul to rest in peace… this is too heavy on me right now. . Too shocking…”
