Bengaluru: Actor Sangamesh Upase, who entertained the audience as a comedian, is all set to come up with a convincing role with a serious theme this time around. He is currently playing the lead role in Ramzan which has already completed all its work and Ramzan is all set to hit the screens on April 21.

The film is based on the story Nombu written by Fakir Mohammed Katadi. Hunger, poverty, struggle, education, health, and farmers’ issues are some of the aspects that can be seen in today’s contemporary society is in this movie.

Ramzan is directed by Panchakshari C. Madivalappa M. Gogi is the producer of the movie. The film was shot in and around Mangaluru, Udupi, Katadi, Gulwadi, Kundapur, and Bengaluru.
