Bengaluru: Sandalwood actress Shruthi has won the third season of Kannada Bigg Boss.

Actor Chandan who was very close to victory reached the second position, while Master Anand came third. Actress Pooja Gandhi and Journalist Rehman who were strong contenders in the finale finished in the top 5.

When the audience polls were predicted, Shruthi did not appear to be in the race in the run up to the finale while Rehman or Master Anand were apparently the clear winners.

But it is said that Shruthi’s pleasing behaviour during her stint on the show is the reason for the audience to vote for her in the end.

The buzz on social media indicates that the result was not expected, pretty much like previous years, when Arun Sagar was the front runner but piped by Vijay Raghavendra in the first season, and crowd favourite Srujan Lokesh losing out to Akul Balaji the following year.
