The Kannada remake of popular Marathi blockbuster film “Sairat” has been titled as “Manasu Mallige”. The film is all set to release during Valentine’s Day. The shooting of the film is complete and the team is busy with the post-production of the film.The film stars actor Satyaprakash’s son Nishant and Rinku Rajaguru in lead roles. Rinku, who also acted in Marathi version, which bagged her National Award had made her debut in Kannada through this film. The film is jointly produced by Rockline Venkatesh and Akash Chawla.

S Narayan has directed the film, while Manohar Joshi is the cameraman. Popular Bollywood music director duo Ajay-Atul has composed the songs for the Kannada version. The duo had also composed the songs for the Marathi version.
