R Chandru has always been impressed by Tollywood films. Being from a village near the Andhra Pradesh border, his films have a Telugu touch to them. He has also directed a Telugu film. Now, he will be directing a bilingual, which will be made in Kannada and Telugu.

The film titled “I Love You” comes with the tagline- Signature of two hearts. The song recording for the film will begin from April 1 and Chandru plans to make the film go on floor from April 20. The film will have actors from the Kannada and Telugu film industries.

R Chandru has decided to go back to the romantic genre, wherein he has found success previously. His last two films – “Kanaka” and “Lakshmana” – were of the action genre and they fared poorly at the box office. He is hoping to make a strong comeback with “I Love You”.
