Popular Telugu director Puri Jagannath is all set to make a comeback to Sandalwood with a new film. The director, who launched current superstar Puneeth Rajkumar in 2002 with “Appu”, is back with a new Kannada film. He will be launching newbie Ishan in the film. Ishan is nephew of politician-producer C R Manohar.

The film has been titled as “Rogue” and is a multi-lingual, made in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. The first look and teaser launch will be held on December 12 in a five star hotel in Hyderabad. An audio launch will also be held in Bengaluru next week.

Puri debuted in Sandalwood with Shivrajkumar-starrer “Yuvaraj”, in 2001, and followed it up with Puneeth’s debut “Appu” in 2002. This film features Aisha Sharma in the female lead and has Thakur Anoop Singh making his debut as an antagonist.
