Bengaluru: The sandalwood actor Puneeth Rajkumar sang the title song of Preethi Kithabu which was composed by V Manohar, recently.

The actor told that though I am not a professional playback singer, I enjoy singing for other actors. I am glad that Manohar gave me an opportunity to sing a song he has composed. I think apart from the voice, lyrics and music are equally important for a song to become a hit, he added.

The actor, who had previously sung two tracks, including the title track for Upendra’s next film. The song titled Uppi 2, is said to be a promotional song for the film. It is not yet decided if the song will be a part of the film or not. The lyrics of the song were reportedly written by Upendra himself.
