Bengaluru: South Indian Actress Priyamani will be donning a khakhi uniform for an upcoming political thriller film helmed by R.P. Patnaik, which will be a Telugu-Kannada bilingual project. The title of the film hasn’t been decided as of now.

Priya is playing the lead role in the film. Talking of the film Patnaik said that Priya plays a powerful CBI officer in my film. For those who have seen her only in glamorous avatars, this role will come as a pleasant surprise.

“Priyamani’s role in the movie will remind one of Vijayashanthi’s in ‘Vaijayanthi IPS’. The actress is doing enough homework to get her act right. I am happy with her dedication”, he added.

He said that there’s a lot of drama and thrills in the film that is scheduled to release in August this year.
