No sandalwood movie fan can so easily forget the storm that Mungaaru Male had brought with it in the industry. After setting up new box-office records, the movie had made all its crew members stars overnight. Actor Ganesh, who was synonymous with ‘Comedy Time’ until then, in no time, became the ‘Golden Star’. All young women in the State were smitten by his character.

The Mungaaru Male franchise is back with its sequel. However, the movie carries nothing from its predecessor except the lead character – Ganesh.

Shashank has replaced director Yograj Bhat. Mangaluru beauty Neha Shetty will star opposite the Golden Star. Crazy Star Ravichandran will play Ganesh’s father. Other characters in the movie are played by Aindrita Ray, Sadhu Kokila and Ravishankar. Director Shashank’s favourite cinematographer Shekhar Chandru has been capturing every drop of the ‘Mungaru Male’ with his lens.

Magical composer Arjun Jhanya will entice the clouds to pour with this music.
