“Mungaaru Male 2” which opened well was expected to slow down after a grand weekend due to mixed word of mouth and Cauvery issue. However, the film has beaten the odds and is still running successfully.
Speaking about the film to Newskarnataka.com, Vikram, manager of a popular multiplex in Bengaluru says, “The film is doing really well in multiplexes. Even though it was said that the film’s word of mouth is average, the occupancy at our screen does not say so. The film has managed to have many screens in spite of many non-Kannada releases.”
“People who came without any expectations are loving the film. I agree that the film is not great as the prequel. However, the film is good and watchable with family. The music has played a big part in this film’s success,” he added.
The Ganesh starrer is all set to enter safe zone this week for it’s distributors Gokul Films.
