Mitra’s debut film as a producer “Raaga” has been censored ‘U’ and will release on April 21. The maker’s decision to release on April 21 has not gone down well with some fans, as they feel that the film will not get the desired screens due to the wave of ‘Raajakumara’ and ‘Chakravarthy’.

This apart, “Baahubali 2” is scheduled to release on April 28, which again will affect the film.

“Raaga” is a word of mouth film. It will have to struggle to get screens if it releases on April 21. It would be better if the film postpones the release to May. But it looks like the makers are too confident of the film and are not at all inclined to change the release date.

The film is the debut film of Mitra Entertainers and stars Mitra, Bhama, Avinash, Jaijagadish, Ramesh Bhat, ‘Kaddipudi’ Chandru and others. The film has been scripted and directed by P C Shekha
