“Kotigobba 2” is all set to complete 50 days in Karnataka. The film which released on August 12 will be completing it’s 50 days on September 30. The film in all probability will end it’s theatrical run in October first week, as “Jaguar” is all set to replace “Kotigobba 2” in many theatres.
The film is a big hit. It did record breaking collections in its first two weeks. The film was a welcome break to director Ravi Kumar, who was struggling with back-to-back flops. Sudeep, who is in the best phase of his professional career was lauded for his excellent portrayal of dual character. Nitya Menon and Ravishankar also impressed the audience.

Soorappa Babu who was waiting for Sudeep’s dates since many years is the happiest of lot. His patience has been worth it. He made huge table profit with this film.

The film also had it’s Tamil version released. However, it could not do well there due to certain issues of release. The dubbed Telugu version will be releasing next month. As Sudeep has a good market in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, we can expect the film to do well there also.
