Rockline Venkatesh, who is known for his remakes has started his another remake film. He has managed to rope in original ‘Sairat’ heroine Rinku Rajguru for the Kannada version. The film, had a silent launch on October 6.
Directed by S Narayan, the film is a love story which takes on caste system. Initially it was speculated that S Narayan and Rockline wanted Ravichandran’s second son as lead in the film. However, they have now changed plans and have decided to introduce Sathya Prakash’s son to Kannada industry. Sathya Prakash’s son will have a new screen name and it will be revealed soon by the makers.

The Marathi blockbuster starring Akash Thosar along with Rinku, which got released in April this year, broke several box-office records. It also grossed Rs 100 crores worldwide. The film remake rights have been acquired by Rockline Venkatesh for Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil version.
