Johny Lever is all set to debut in Kannada films. The well known comedian from Bollywood will be acting in a new film called “Gara”. The film was launched last week and marks the debut of well-known news anchor Rehman in lead role.The film is being written and directed and produced by Muralikrishna. Apart from Rehman and Johnny Lever, Avanthika, Sadhu Kokila and others play prominent roles in the film.

Not many know that Johny Lever is from Andhra Pradesh and is also fluent in Tulu, which is the language spoken in coastal belt of Karnataka. He acted in Tulu film “Rang” few years back. He has also acted in one Telugu and Tamil film. In Bollywood, he was ruling the roost in 90’s. However, he has slowed down on signing films. His last appearance as actor in Bollywood was for “Dilwale”, which released in 2015.
