The Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition Mandya Lok Sabha Constituency’s losing candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy and winning candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh were all over the news during the general elections.

After Sumalatha won the most anticipated Mandya LS poll, Nikhil Kumaraswamy had not made any statement publicly after the election results. However, on Wednesday, May 29, Nikhil on the occasion of Late Ambreesh’s birth anniversary, wished Abhishek for the success of his film ‘Amar’ which will be released on Friday, May 31.

Nikhil took to Instagram to wish Abhishek, “I wish my brother Abhi’s debut film which will be releasing tomorrow, a huge success. I am sure Abhi would have performed well. Please watch the movie in theatres”, posted Nikhil.

He also clarified that he had not wished Abhishek to show off. “I value relationships and was stressing the same during the election. My good wishes to Sumalatha for winning the election. I am ready to join hands with anyone for the development of Mandya. I take full responsibility for the result of the election. If anybody wants to critisise me, please do so but not any of the party MLAs, MLCs, chief minister and Devegowda,” Nikhil added.
