Piracy recently hit Sandalwood in a big way, with the producer of “Pailwaan” suffered losses in crores. Taking a cue from this fiasco, now, the producers of Ganesh-starrer “Geetha” are taking precautionary measures before the film’s release on September 27.
The producers, Syed Salam and Shilpa Ganesh, have tied up with Aiplex Software Private Limited, an anti-piracy company, to combat the piracy issue. They have also written a letter to Ravi Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime, requesting his help in this regard.
The makers of “Geetha” have also decided to push the overseas release by three weeks, as the films are generally leaked at the time of the overseas release.
“Geetha” marks the directorial debut of Vijay Naagenda and features Prayaga Martin, Parvathy Arun, Shanvi Srivastav and Sudharani in the lead.
