The release date of the most expected film of the year is finally out. Ganesh’s ‘Mungaaru Male 2’, which is a sequel to 2006 hit ‘Mungaaru Male’ is all set to release on September 9.

Gangadhar who was the executive producer of ‘Mungaru Male’ is producing the film. Shashank, who is known for his romantic films, is helming the project. The teaser of the film was released recently to a great response.

‘Mungaaru Male’ released in 2006 went on to register record breaking collections. The film brought back family audiences to Sandalwood. Director Yograj Bhat’s small budget film brought huge profits for everyone involved. Yograj Bhat, Ganesh and Pooja Gandhi became overnight stars.

The timing of ‘Mungaaru Male 2’ seems to be perfect. After a lull, Ganesh is back into form with ‘Zoom’. This has set a perfect launch pad for ‘Mungaaru Male 2’.

The film also stars Ravichandran, Neha Shetty and Aindrita Ray in pivotal role.
