Ramgopal Varma, who has expressed his happiness after watching “Tagaru”, has requested Suri to direct a film for his production house. Thrilled with the offer, Suri has agreed to direct the film if it is made in Hindi.

Suri is currently working on the subject, which he feels is apt for his Bollywood debut. One of the most successful directors in Sandalwood, Suri has a good success rate as a director and his films are raw, which also get critical appreciation.

“Hindi is not a small market, I need to first analyse what kind of cinema I should propose. There are so many categories we can pick from, there is a section who like to experiment and there is another who want big-budget films. Everything needs work and time. We are in touch and discussions are on,” revealed Suri.

Meanwhile he has already announced “Tagaru 2” and we will have to wait and see if it will be shot before his Bollywood debut.
